Tanzania named top global honeymoon, safari destination

Tanzania has been named as the leading honeymoon hotspot in the world and one of the eight finest national parks Africa has to offer in two separate surveys.

According to a new research by Tanzania Odyssey, Tanzania, with its stunning landscapes, rich culture and thrilling safaris, is now widely regarded as the best honeymoon destination in the world.

For newlywed couples, honeymoon planning can be just as important as the wedding itself. For many, it’s a once in a lifetime experience filled with romance, adventure and excitement.

However, arguments can soon arise when it comes to choosing that all important destination.

Historically, most couples favor the allure of the beach getaway: sipping cocktails and watching the sun set over a dreamy landscape. Whilst this type of honeymoon still retains its appeal, more and more newlyweds are looking to inject a little bit more adventure into their post-wedding getaway.

Fending off competition from rival beach locations like Hawaii and Mauritius, Tanzania recently topped a poll that aimed to uncover the world’s most popular honeymoon destination for 2018.
